Parjana® EGRP harnesses the hydrologic forces in the soil to siphon rain water runoff back to the water table and after natural filtration through the Vadose Zone it replenishes the groundwater. A building is only as good as the foundation it sits on. Building foundations leads to the construction of basements. Parjana® Products stop the problem of water ingress and the associated degradation of basements. The Parjana® System has proven to be effective against water and moisture permeation and will remain effective for generations to come. Our products are durable and strong. They remain flexible enough to handle changes in temperature down to -20 degrees Fahrenheit and not change its structure. It will not deteriorate in the ground because it is made of an EPA approved di-electric material. It also has an Izod strength rating of 1.5 ft/lb per sq. inch.
When installed vertically the EGRP speeds water permeation into that layer of our planet known as the Vadose Zone. THE VADOSE ZONE is the layer of earth between the surface and water table. The runoff water that now overburdens our municipal waste treatment facilities causing untreated discharges and speeds erosion into our natural estuaries, is captured and returned to our groundwater; allowing for natural filtration through the Vadose Zone. This is a way to preserve our pure natural water resources.
The Parjana® EGRP uses the hydrologic forces in the wet soil to induce a siphoning of rain and surface water runoff deeper and faster into the Vadose Zone than normal conditions allow. The energy used comes from the expansion and contraction of the soil making the pump passive or energy neutral. That means it costs nothing to operate. The energy comes as compliments of Mother Nature.
